The Gameday Society Cup Bounty takes the classic knockout cup format and turns the heat up with a brand new twist. It is not just about survival, it is about putting something on the line, chasing bigger prizes, and outlasting the competition.

⚔️ The Knockout Format

The cup itself works just like you would expect. It is knockout style. Win and advance, lose and you are out. The deeper you go, the better the prizes on offer.

💎 The Bounty Challenge

Every player has the option to put up one of their Gameday Squad cards as a bounty. If you are eliminated, the person who knocks you out will earn your bounty card for themselves.

Any cards above a bronze will be accepted to allow as many people as possible to enter! Cards must be commited prior to lockout of the first round of the cup.

👉 But there is a catch: you can only win bounty cards if you are part of the bounty system yourself. That means if you are not bold enough to offer a card, you are not eligible to win one from someone else.

You do not have to hand your card over straight away either. You can keep using it week to week until you are knocked out. If you lose, you will just need to transfer the card before the next lockout so the competition flows smoothly.

If you are knocked out by a non bounty player you keep your card.

🎡 The Weekly Reward Wheel

On top of the bounty system we are adding another layer of fun, the weekly reward wheel.

Here is how it works:

• Everyone with an active bounty gets their name on the wheel

• The size of your segment is based on the average of your bounty card at the start of the cup

• Stronger cards = bigger segment = better odds at winning weekly prizes

The wheel spins every week until the final (or until there are no bounties left), dropping rewards along the way.

Q: How do I enter?

A: Message @themightyhoss on Discord, or DM us via The Gameday Society Instagram or X to lock in your spot.

Q: Do I have to put up a card to play in the cup?

A: No. The knockout cup is open to everyone. The bounty system is optional. Only players who put up a card are in the bounty challenge and the reward wheel.

Q: How does the bounty system work?

A: You choose one card from your squad to offer as your bounty. It can be any card ABOVE bronze. If you are knocked out, the player who beats you earns your bounty card. But you can only win someone else’s bounty if you have offered one yourself.

Q: Do I have to give my card up straight away?

A: No. You are free to play your bounty card each week until the moment you are knocked out. At that point, the card goes to your opponent.

Q: When do I have to transfer the card?

A: The bounty card must be paid out before the next lockout begins. It is a condition of entry that you agree to this.

Q: What happens if I am knocked out by a non bounty player?

A: You keep your card. Bounty transfers only happen if both players are part of the bounty challenge.

Q: What is the reward wheel?

A: Every week, all players with an active bounty get their name on the reward wheel. The size of your segment is based on the average of your bounty card at the start of the cup.

Q: What happens if I am the last player standing with a bounty and the cup is still running?

A: In this situiation, the last remaining player will get one last prize wheel spin then the competition will end.

Q: If my card’s average changes later, does my wheel segment change too?

A: No. The wheel is locked based on your card’s Week 1 average.

Q: Can I change my bounty card mid comp?

A: No. Once you have put up a card, that is your bounty for the entire tournament.

Q: What happens if I win the cup with a bounty active?

A: You keep your card, plus you have had extra chances at rewards along the way.

Q: What kind of prizes are on the wheel?

A: Cards, packs, and subscriptions. All card will be supplied by The GameDay Society but donations are always welcome. Your name will be credited on the prize wheel!

Q: Can I enter the bounty once the cup has already started?

A: No, you will only be allowed to enter the GameDay Society Bounty if you commit you card prior to lockout of the first round of the cup. You are always welcome to have wagers with your opponents throughout the competition but your name will not go on the prize wheel and I will not be responsible for any agreements.
