Sunderland v Arsenal:
A David v Goliath story at the beginning of the season, however now a much more even prospect. It’s likely Arsenal still win this, but it should be a closer game against a team who dominated Everton at points last round. Arsenal’s usual set piece ploys may struggle against the likes of Ballard, Mulere and Fernandez.
Relevant historical data:

● Last time they played was 2021

Palace’s home form this season puts into question their recent defensive struggles against Brighton, whom they haven’t kept a clean sheet against for the past ten matches. Brighton have only been held goalless once this season, to Everton, in a game Pickford saved a penalty. This game is likely to be low scoring, but will anyone manage to keep a clean sheet?

Man City v Liverpool:
The clash of the round as two powerhouse rivals meet. Liverpool come into the game in very poor league form, however a win over Real Madrid midweek may do wonders for their confidence. City should have the upper hand at home here and you’d expected either sides star attackers to do well.
